I have agreed with Wendie at Lion Roch Ventures Ltd that the Mobile Barcamp can use the Buzzy Bee logo for the standard up and including the event and 3 months after.
Just a quick note to all Barcamps that might want to use the Buzzy Bee logo (and let's face it, it has become a cool as standard :-)
Please note the following:
- Buzzy Bee and all associated logos are licensed to Lion Rock Ventures Limited
- They have not given "barcamps" unlimited use of the logo
- License to use the logo is usually happily given for the event - but you need to ask
- Please give acknowledgement of their implicit sponsorship when they allow you to use the logo
Note: Mike Riversdale is in negotiation with Wendie at Lion Rock Ventures Ltd to see if we can get a "NZ Barcamp-wide" license to use the logo for the events without having to ask. Failing that (and you can understand why they want to ensure they know where the logo is being used) he is trying to arrange some means of having an easy/quick way of getting the official OK from Lion Rock Ventures Ltd for each Barcamp that wants to use the Buzzy Bee logo.
